The Green Buffaloes Judo Club has cemented its position at the top of the Musa Biscuits National Judo League, securing 91 points in the latest league standings. This impressive performance has kept them in first place across all weight categories. In a distant second, Red Arrows Judo Club trails behind with 41 points, while Green Eagles Judo Club takes third place with 31 points. Sables Nua Judo Club and Judo For Fred Judo Club round out the top five with 14 and 12 points, respectively. Nkwazi Judo Club secures sixth place with nine points, followed closely by Central Sports Club and Malawi, both tied at three points. IPPON brings up the rear with two points in ninth place. Notably, the Malawi team consisted of eight Judokas, including three females and five male athletes, accompanied by the General Secretary, Administrator, Coach, and Technical Team. This delegation took advantage of the opportunity to learn from the Judo Association of Zambia (JAZ) technical team, gaining valuable insights into the use and management of computerized systems for competitions. The next league is scheduled for May 25th in the picturesque tourist capital of Livingstone, promising another exciting installment of the Musa Biscuits National Judo League.
