On Match Day 31 of the Zambian Super League, the Forest Rangers visited the renowned city of Kitwe, where they were met with hostility from Power Dynamos. Forest rangers suffered an agonizing 5-0 defeat in Kitwe, sliding to 11th position. It was also a nasty reception for an old colleague and former Power Dynamos coach Mwenya Chipepo, who was dissatisfied with his new team's performance in the match. Chipepo described his team as irresponsible, particularly in the middle, which allowed the Dynamos to exploit their flaws and inflict the punishment. Chipepo has vented a need for talented strikers for the upcoming season. The Forest Rangers have only salvaged one win in their last six games. They have also recorded three draws and two losses.
