Nkana FC and the Green Buffaloes have both had a mild season worth closing in their books. Their last encounter for the league this season saw it end in a scoreless draw at the Edwin Imboela Stadium. During the match, there was some controversy in particular with the Green Buffaloes, who were allegedly demanding a penalty to be awarded to them after the ref denied the action, which they believed happened in the box. This temporarily put the match on hold just 10 minutes before the final whistle. With this draw, the Buffaloes have dropped to 13th place, a dangerous spot for them. They are now relegation threatened as they sit only two points from relegation side Konkola Blades. The last remaining fixtures don't look to be friendly for the Buffaloes. They have Muza FC, Forest Rangers FC, and Trident FC. Should they drop points in these games, it could end in tears for them. Their season just got even harder in the last minutes. Relegation might seem like a funny word for the Green Buffaloes, but anything is possible in the Zambian Super League. Where will they end this season?
