Red Arrows Football Club head coach Chisi Mbewe has dubbed their upcoming match against local rivals Zanaco Football Club a "cup final" and is calling on fans to fill Nkoloma Stadium tomorrow. Speaking to the media online today, Mbewe emphasized the significance of the local derby, stating that a favorable result would secure the Airmen’s status as league champions. “We have also been telling the boys to treat the match as a cup final," Mbewe said. He added that the entire camp is eagerly anticipating the match, with players highly motivated to win in front of home fans, as well as in the final two games of the season. Red Arrows suffered a minor setback on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, with a 1-0 loss to Kabwe Warriors, slowing their march to the league title. However, they are determined to bounce back. Mbewe expressed gratitude to the fans for their unwavering support and urged everyone to fill Nkoloma Stadium to help push the team to the championship.
