Schaffhausen played their final league match in the Switzerland Challenge League away from home against league champions Sion FC. The match ended in a disappointing 3-0 win for Miguel's Schaffhausen. Miguel was a starter in the match, playing 64 minutes. Schaffhausen end their season in ninth place after 36 games. They have registered eight wins, 14 draws, and 14 losses this season. Miguel Chaiwa, who is on loan from Young Boys BSC, has equally had a dusky season in Switzerland. Miguel has played 14 matches for Schaffhausen, starting in all of them. Miguel joined second-tier Swish club Schaffhausen from top-tier Swish club Young Boys in the winter transfer window (January 2024). Miguel is set to part ways with his loan club and return to his parent club in the Swiss top-flight league. Understand, there are speculations about Miguel Chaiwa's potential exit from Young Boys BSC, either for another loan move or a permanent transfer.
