NCHANGA RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB SECURES KEY PLAYERS WITH CONTRACT EXTENSIONS Chingola, May 29, 2024: In a significant move to strengthen the team ahead of the 2024/2025 FAZ Super Division Challenge, Nchanga Rangers Football Club has announced that two of its key players, Elliot Kampukesa and Laurent Mwanza, have signed contract extensions to remain at the club on long-term deals. Kampukesa, an exciting attacking midfielder and homegrown talent, and Mwanza, his Congolese attacking midfield compatriot, have joined Club Captain Victor Chabu, defender Roger Kumiyamba, and goalkeeper Flobby Mashakalati in committing their futures to the club. Club president Shapi Shachinda expressed his excitement at securing the services of these important players, stating, "Our desire is to ensure we begin preparations for the new season with all our key players. Except in circumstances where a player really wants to leave, the club will not stand in their way, even though our plans are not to release important players." The club has also bolstered its frontline with the signing of Congolese winger Mangubu Munyampara Pepe. Further signings are expected to be announced in the coming days. Shachinda added, "Our technical bench and ExCo are working hard to ensure we reinforce the squad in the right areas to make it more competitive, and some experienced additions will be recruited." The club welcomed Pepe to the Brave Rangers family and extended its gratitude to Kampukesa and Mwanza for their loyalty and hard work in the previous season, wishing them well in their future endeavors. This move demonstrates the club's commitment to building a strong and competitive team for the upcoming season. Follow Zed Sport for all the latest sports news updates.
