Zambia's U-17 women's national team has made history by qualifying for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, set to take place in the Dominican Republic from May 12 to May 28, 2024. Defender Saliya Mwanza jersey number 20, who received her first national team call-up, expressed her excitement about the qualification. "I'm excited to be part of the national team for the first time, and to qualify for the World Cup is a dream come true," Mwanza said. "We're eager to make our mark on the biggest football stage and bring joy to our country."
