The Copperbelt Seymens Provincial Cup concluded with Chingola Blue Stars and Kwacha Queens winning the men's and women's categories, respectively.Justin Mumba, FAZ vice president, officiated at the ceremony held in Kitwe this past weekend. Chingola Police Blue Stars defeated Rush Academy 1-0 in the men's bracket, while Kwacha Queens defeated Fibunde 5-0 in the women's tournament. For their victory, the Chingola Police Blue Stars received K15, 000, while the Kwacha Queens received K10,000. There were additional prizes for the third and fourth-place teams, as well as individual honors for the top scores and players. Provincial chairperson Patrick Ndhlovu, his deputy Gabriel Kaunda, and Women's Representative Esther Bwalya all attended the Copperbelt Provincial Cup final. FAZ has decentralized, with regions given the authority to host tournaments to assist in growing the game.
