Zambian forward Evans Kangwa scored two goals for Qingdao Huanghai FC in their 3-1 victory over Nantong Zhiyun FC in a Chinese Super League round 26 match played on Sunday afternoon. The Zambian international had an impressive 85-minute performance for his team and played a crucial role in their win. He has now scored six goals this season since joining the Chinese side. Kangwa, who came on as a substitute in the second half for Zambia in a 1-1 draw against Comoros earlier this month, aims to maintain his good form to be part of the national team squad for upcoming friendly matches next month before the World Cup qualifiers begin in November. Moreover, the AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast, scheduled for January, is also on the horizon. Qingdao is currently in 13th place in the 16-team table with 26 points from 26 matches.
