Red Star Belgrade midfielder, Kings Kangwa, is set to become the sixth Zambian player to ever play in the prestigious UEFA Champions League group stage of the competition today. Kangwa will play away against the defending champions, Manchester City, in England. Kangwa will join a select group of Zambian players who have played in the UEFA Champions League, including Great Kalusha Bwalya with 2 games, Fwayo Tembo with 3 games, Fashion Sakala with 4 games, Enock Mwepu with 11 games, and Patson Daka with 10 games. Kangwa has a chance to become the second Zambian player to score in the UEFA Champions League group stage after Patson Daka. Red Star Belgrade will need to put up an impressive performance if they are to get anything from this encounter against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side.
