Zambian international Kings Kangwa is tipped to start for Red Star Belgrade against RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League this evening after an excellent performance in his first start, following six consecutive missed games. Kangwa provided an assist in Red Star's 3-1 win over Radnik in the Serbian league over the weekend, which sparked an outcry from fans demanding that he be given more playing time. Red Star Belgrade manager Barak Bakhar was forced to start Kangwa due to pressure from the fans. Now, he faces a tough decision when Red Star hosts RB Leipzig, who enter the game wounded after an unexpected 2-0 defeat to Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga. Kangwa, who had fallen down the pecking order at Red Star, will be hoping for another start to help his side secure their first win of the season in the Champions League. Red Star has had a disappointing start to the competition, with two losses and one draw in their opening three games. They currently sit third in the table with one point, eight points behind leaders Manchester City, and five points behind RB Leipzig. Kangwa attended Red Star's last training session on Monday and hopes to add to his three assists for the season, despite his limited playing time thus far. The match will kick off at 22:00hrs Zambian time.
