Lumwana Radiants have confirmed the departure of Lameck Banda by mutual consent. Additionally, the club has announced the termination of the contract for the first assistant coach, Bupe Chewe, citing similar reasons. In an official statement, Lumwana Radiants Football Club (LRFC) stated, "LRFC wishes to inform its stakeholders and the football family that we have mutually agreed to terminate the contracts of Head Coach Lameck Banda and First Assistant Coach Bupe Chewe." Proactive steps have been taken by the club in the interim, with the appointment of Sailas Simunyola as the head coach and Chiyesu Sakafunya as his assistant. These two coaches will oversee the transition of the club until suitable replacements are identified.
