Mufulira Wanderers head coach Justin Chinama said that there was nothing special about his side's victory over Nkana, as every team is beating them, following his side's 2-1 win at Shinde Stadium on Saturday. Speaking in a post-match interview, Chinama said that his side's victory was well-deserved, having dominated the game. "I think we played well and deserve the victory, but what is important to our players is to remain focused and we should not grow big-headed after beating Nkana. After all, every team is beating Nkana, so there is nothing to celebrate," he said. Chinama has overseen a change of fortune for Wanderers since taking charge at the start of the season, following the team's promotion back into the Zambian Super League. Saturday's victory propelled Wanderers to 6th on the table with 11 points from 7 matches, while Nkana remains bottom of the table with just 2 points from seven games, after losing 5 games and managing to pick up just 2 points. Chinama showed admiration for his side's style of play, stating that they are a team to be reckoned with. "We are a team to beat because we are playing good football, and everyone can attest to that. Everyone wants to beat Mufulira Wanderers," he said. Meanwhile, Nkana's awful start to the season drags on, going into week 8 without a win and only managing to score just 2 goals from 7 games.
