The Zambia women's under-20 team will face Congo DR at the Des Martyrs Stadium in Kinshasa for their second leg clash at 16:00hrs. The winner of this leg will meet Burundi in the third round. Last week, the two teams faced each other, resulting in a 2-2 draw in Lusaka. Team captain Chitete Munsaka and coach Charles Haalubono, speaking ahead of today's 2024 Colombia FIFA U20 Women's World Cup qualifier against DR Congo, declared that the team is ready and up for the challenge. Charles Haalubono believes in his squad to deliver victory against the Congolese. "We have prepared well, and as usual, we train to win, so we are prepared for the game. We have a good pool of players; it's just up to them to prove themselves," Haalubono said. Zambia's ambassador to Congo, Dr. Paulu Kasita, attended the Copper Princesses' training. Dr. Paulu Kasita has confidence in the team, stating, "Let's tell ourselves that the destination is Colombia. Let's work as a team; it's teamwork that will lead us to victory."
