Copper Queens winger Prisca Chilufya has been given jersey number 25 at her new club, FC Juárez Femenil, in Mexico. The 24-year-old joined Juárez in June on a two-year contract and has already started training with the team. Chilufya previously played for Turkish side Fatih Karagumruk and Kazakh clubs BIIK Kazygurt and Tomiris Turan. She made her UEFA Women's Champions League debut in 2021. Chilufya was part of the Copper Queens squad that reached the final of the 2022 COSAFA Women's Championship but did not make the final cut for the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. She hopes to have an impact in Mexico and help Juárez compete for honors in the Liga BBVA MX Femenil.
