Brave Nchanga Rangers FC has announced the reinforcement of their squad ahead of the national league campaign as they push to win back promotion to the top tier of Zambian football. The Chingola-based side has signed winger Mwiza Siwale, midfielder Bwalya Tembo, and striker Max Mulutula from Kafue Celtic on long-term contracts, as well as creative midfielder Musonda Siame, who arrived at Nchanga Stadium as a free agent, also on a long-term contract. Right-back Humphrey Phiri joins Rangers on a season-long loan from Young Prison Leopards, while left-back Gift Sikaonga rejoins Rangers from Lusaka Dynamos as a free agent. Defensive midfielder Mike Davie Zulu from Kalilo Stars in Lusaka has also penned a long-term contract. The club has also acquired the services of three foreign players from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), namely striker Billy Ntumba Balanganayi who was on the books of Chambeshi FC last season, defender Roger Iyongo Kumiyamba from AC Manga Sports in Lubumbashi, and attacking midfielder Laurent Ntambwe Mwanza from Racing Club Katanga Stars FC of Lubumbashi. The club is still finalizing two more deals. The Nchanga Rangers FC executive committee (ExCo) is confident that the technical bench headed by Robert Tembo will utilize the retained talent and new players to ensure the team bounces back into the Super Division during the 2023/2024 campaign.
