Byta FM reports that Zambia Sugar PLC has shown its unwavering support for MUZA Football Club by generously sponsoring 400 residents of Mazabuka to rally behind the team as they prepare to take on Diables Noirs of Congo Brazzaville in a highly-anticipated CAF Confederations Cup clash. This encounter is set for the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka this Sunday with kick-off at 15:00. Eugene Chungu, the Corporate Affairs Director of Zambia Sugar, announced the company's commitment to transport supporters from various districts to ensure they can passionately support the Mazabuka-based squad. He emphasized that this sponsorship encompasses tickets to the match and complimentary transportation to and from Lusaka. Chungu also expressed the company's pride in FC MUZA's remarkable accomplishments in both the CAF Confederation Cup and the domestic league. Furthermore, he revealed Zambia Sugar PLC's intention to continue supporting the club by making the Nakambala Stadium, currently the team's home ground, available for their use. In response to this gesture, FC MUZA's Chief Executive Officer, Joel Kabika, extended heartfelt appreciation to Zambia Sugar for their invaluable support. Kabika highlighted that this sponsorship would significantly contribute to filling up the National Heroes Stadium with passionate fans. The distribution of tickets will take place through various local radio stations in the region, ensuring broad access for supporters. This latest initiative by Zambia Sugar PLC follows their earlier sponsorship of 600 FC MUZA fans who had the privilege of witnessing the historic ABSA Final between FC MUZA and Forest Rangers earlier this year.
