Zambian representatives in the CAF interclub competitions will learn their opponents for the preliminary stages this afternoon. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will hold the draw for the preliminary stages of the 2023/24 season of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup. The preliminary stages draw will be conducted today at 13:00 CAT (11:00 GMT) at the CAF Headquarters, starting with the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup and followed closely by TotalEnergies CAF Champions League. Both draws will be live across all CAF TV Partners, the official CAF website CAFONLINE.COM, and the official CAF YouTube Channel, CAF TV. Power Dynamos won the league last season and will represent Zambia in the CAF Champions League, making a return to continental football after a decade of absence. Meanwhile, Mazabuka-based FC MUZA will represent Zambia in the CAF Confederation Cup after their rollercoaster campaign last season, finishing second in the league.
