Forest Rangers have denied FC Muza an opportunity to reach the summit of the MTN/FAZ Super League after holding them to a 2-all draw away in Mazabuka. FC MUZA took the lead in the 6th minute through Mbono Ekofo, but Forest Rangers equalised in the 40th minute via Quadri Kola. Lazarus Chishimba gave the Ndola outfit the lead in the 45th minute. Forest Rangers went into the half-time break leading by 2 goals to 1 (2-1). Muza were awarded a penalty in the 63rd minute and Andrew Phiri stepped up to convert the spot kick and earn Muza a point. After 90+ minutes, it ended FC Muza 2-2 Forest Rangers. Muza still remains unbeaten in the league this season. The Kennedy Kashibondo-tutored side have only collected a point out of the possible 6 points from the Southern Province this season. Meanwhile, in the other game in Lusaka, Green Buffaloes have handed the defending League Champions, Power Dynamos, their first defeat of the season with a 3-1 win at Edwin Imboela Stadium. Andy Boyeli was once again on target, giving the visitors, Power Dynamos, the lead 3 minutes into the first half. However, George Ngoma restored parity in the 27th minute before getting his second goal of the match in the 63rd minute. Golden Mashata scored the third goal for the Zambia Army-sponsored side in the 87th minute. Green Buffaloes have since moved out of the relegation zone with that victory over Power Dynamos.
