In the aftermath of FC Muza's narrow 2-1 defeat to Diables Noir, the club's proprietor, Keith Mweemba, remained resolute and optimistic about their chances to advance to the next stage of the competition. Speaking to the media after the match, Mweemba addressed the team's performance and their upcoming reverse fixture in Congo Brazzaville. When questioned about their prospects of qualifying for the next stage, Mweemba exuded confidence, stating, "The chances - it won't be easy, but if there's one person who has confidence, it's me. Trust me, we know where we have gone wrong, and I'm very confident that we won't disappoint the country. We know we have disappointed them today, but look, this is a game of two halves, and we'll go to Congo Brazzaville with a positive mindset because we are fighting for the nation, and I am very confident." Mweemba emphasized the resilience of his young team, acknowledging their slow start in the match but highlighting their ability to create scoring opportunities away from home. "Look, this team is a team of young players, but they are capable of scoring away from home, so I think you watched the game. We didn't start well, but if you count the chances that we created," he noted. Despite the loss, Mweemba pointed out the team's clinical finishing and suggested that with a bit more luck, the result could have been different. "If we were clinical, I think it would have been a different result, but it's normal to concede," he explained. Looking ahead to the crucial match away in Congo Brazzaville in the second leg, Mweemba acknowledged a shift in their game plan, saying, "We will go to Congo Brazzaville and try to win the game. Obviously, now the game plan has changed. If we had won here, probably we could have gone there with the conscious intention to defend, but now we have to go there and attack and defend consciously."
