Zambian midfielder Edward Chilufya scored an all-important goal to send Midtjylland to the third round of the Europa Conference League. Midtjylland lost 2-1 to FC Progres in the second leg of their playoff tie, but Chilufya's goal in extra time was enough for them to qualify with a 3-2 aggregate scoreline. Chilufya's goal came in the 112th minute after his side had lost 2-0 in normal time. The match was tied 2-2 on aggregate, as Midtjylland had won the first leg 2-0 at home. The Zambian international's goal was crucial, and it helped Midtjylland reach the third round of the Europa Conference League. They will be playing Omonia on August 10th. Chilufya has been in good form for Midtjylland since his €2.5 million move from Djurgardens IF.
