Lubambo Musonda, the captain of Zambia's national team, has departed from Danish side AC Horsens after the two parties agreed to terminate his contract. This information was reported by Wami Katanga. Musonda, a 28-year-old winger, had one year remaining on his contract with Horsens. However, the team was relegated from the Danish Superliga last season. It is anticipated that Musonda will soon join a new European club. In 2021, Musonda joined Horsens following a stint with Polish outfit Slask Wroclaw. During his initial season with the club, he played a key role in helping them secure promotion to the Danish top flight. Musonda is recognized for his versatility, as he can perform effectively on either wing or as a central midfielder. His speed and dribbling skills are well-regarded.
