Green Buffaloes Women's Football Club coach Beauty Mwamba has successfully completed a high-level CAF Instructors course in Rabat, Morocco. The 8-day course, which began on 18th October, brought together coaches from various parts of Africa. Mwamba, who recently obtained her CAF A coaching badge alongside Yanga Princesses coach Charles Haalubono and Enala Phiri-Simbeye, said the course was crucial as it brought her up to date with the modern trends in the game, such as how to create a suitable learning environment for both players and coaches. "The knowledge which I have gained from the course is meant to be shared with other coaches so that we can improve the level of football in our country, the region, and in Africa. The use of modern technology, like video analysis, was also emphasized, and this is what we need to promote in our game," Mwamba said. Mwamba regularly serves as a Technical Study Group member at COSAFA tournaments and recently participated in the COSAFA Zonal Instructors Course that paved the way for her participation in the continental course. "I can say FAZ has played a very big role in my development as a coach and instructor since 2008. They have been there throughout the journey. I would also like to thank my ever-supportive club, Green Buffaloes, for investing in my coaching career and always allowing me to attend different courses," Mwamba said. "I would like to thank COSAFA and CAF for giving me this opportunity to be trained as an instructor. It was through the COSAFA Zonal Instructors course, which was held in Johannesburg in 2020, that I was identified to come and attend the course in Rabat."
