Brentford is reportedly interested in signing Leicester City striker Patson Daka as a potential replacement for Ivan Toney, who is set to leave the club in the January transfer window, according to reports from Transfer football and BBC Sport. Toney has been linked with moves to Tottenham, Manchester United, and Chelsea, and Brentford is already considering their alternatives. Daka is also a target for Bournemouth, AC Milan, and Saudi Pro League clubs. He is eager to leave Leicester in January due to his limited game time, having only played for 26 minutes so far this season. Daka has a €7 million (£6m) release clause in his contract from his former club RB Salzburg, which will be activated the next time he plays. However, Leicester is reportedly demanding €29 million for the striker. The Zambia international has spent two seasons at Leicester, scoring 15 goals in 74 appearances. It remains to be seen whether Brentford will be able to meet Leicester's valuation of Daka, but acquiring him would be a significant signing for the Bees.
