Andrew Phiri's First-Half Strike Earns Mazabuka-Based Side Victory FC Muza defeated Mufulira Wanderers 1-0 to secure the second position in the MTN FAZ Super League. The victory also maintains Muza's unbeaten record in the league this season. Zambia Under-23 striker Andrew Phiri scored the sole goal of the game in the 16th minute. Muza took control of the match right from the beginning, and their hard work paid off when Phiri found the back of the net. Mufulira Wanderers improved in the second half and displayed signs of equalizing, but they were unable to break through the determined Muza defense. The game did not go as planned for the visitors as they were reduced to 10 men with 10 minutes remaining when Bembya Kakungu received a second yellow card for challenging Andrew Phiri. With this win, Muza climbs to second place in the table with 16 points, just one point behind leaders Red Arrows.
