Zambian international Kennedy Musonda continues to be a favorite for Tanzanian outfit Young Africans as he scored against Sudanese side Al-Merrikh in Yanga's 2-0 away win in their first CAF Champions League preliminary second round leg. The former Power Dynamos striker found the back of the net in the 62nd minute to put his team ahead, and they went on to win 2-0 with another goal coming in the 79th minute through Clement Mzize. The Chipolopolo striker has been in excellent form in recent weeks, scoring in each of the last five games he has played for his club, totaling five goals. The 28-year-old striker was not part of the Zambia team that drew 1-1 against Comoros earlier this month. However, he hopes that his scoring form will convince National team coach Avram Grant to include him in the squad for the international friendlies scheduled for October. The opponents for these matches have yet to be announced by the football association.
