Zambian Copper Queens attacker Prisca Chilufya continues to receive support in Mexico following her impressive start to life with Juarez Feminine, where she has scored four goals in the league from her first 12 games. In week 16, Chilufya played a full match during her side's 1-0 away win over Tijuana, a victory that saw Juarez move from 9th to 8th on the league table with 26 points. After the match, Chilufya was shown love by a young Juarez supporter who went to watch the match with a placard written "Prisca Chilufya #1 Vamos Bravas Dedicate me a goal" requesting the Zambian to dedicate a goal to her. Chilufya took to Facebook on Saturday to acknowledge the love shown by the little girl and promised to dedicate a goal to her: "Words cannot express my feelings, nor my thanks for all your support, my little sister. I have a mission to complete for you." Chilufya's fine form since becoming the first Zambian female player to play in Mexico could certainly see her recalled to the national team setup, with the team awaiting their opponents for the 2024 Olympic Qualifiers.
