Kennedy Musonda continued his fine form for Young Africans on Saturday, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs. The Zambian striker, who made his debut for the national team during AFCON qualifiers, has been in excellent form since joining Yanga from Power Dynamos in January 2023. He played an important part in the club's glory last season, helping them win the league and cup double. Musonda scored the only goal of the game against Kaizer Chiefs in the 35th minute, firing home a low shot from inside the box. The Soweto giants had several chances to equalize, but they were unable to find the back of the net. The win was a good confidence boost for Yanga ahead of the start of the new season. They will be hoping to build on their success from last season and challenge for the CAF Champions League title. Musonda's goal was a reminder of his quality, and he will be a key player for Yanga this season.
