Week Nine of the MTN Super League treated fans to a series of exciting matches, notably seeing Nkana win their first game of the season. Konkola Blades and Red Arrows played to a 1-1 draw, with goals from Erick Etienne and Peter Kalota. NAPSA Stars and FC MUZA also ended in a 1-1 draw, with Adams Zikiru and Andrew Phiri finding the back of the net. The game of the day saw Nkana secure a 1-0 victory over Prison Leopards, courtesy of Harrison Chisala's goal. Green Eagles and Trident delivered a thrilling 2-2 draw. Christopher Zulu and Derrick Bulaya scored for Green Eagles in the 58th and 69th minutes, respectively. On the other side, Joseph Mumbi and Walaza Tembo found the net for Trident, with goals in the 31st and 45th minutes. Nkwazi triumphed with a 2-0 win against Mutondo Stars, powered by Mathews Mashimikilo's double. Kabwe Warriors caused an upset, defeating ZESCO United 2-1. Mufulira Wanderers and Forest Rangers played to a 1-1 draw, with goals from Clive Biyeta and Lazarous Chishimba.
