Saturday, 9th September 2023, Striker Patson Daka brought glory during Zambia and Comoros clash at Maroni stadium at the AFCON Qualifiers game. Daka scored in the 69th minute to equalize for Zambia and helped the team remain top in Group H. Zambia, however, did exceptionally well in their last match against Morocco with 42% ball possession and 419 passes. Zambia tops Group H, followed by Ivory Coast and Comoros, with Lesotho having the least points in the group. In an interview with FAZ media yesterday, PD10 said that he scored not for personal glory but because of teamwork and coordination. "It is the team which scored and I could not have managed to do this by myself without the support of my teammates," he said. Daka further added that teamwork produced quality results, which always made him excited whenever they meet other national team players who have now become like family.
