This evening, the Botswana boxing team is set to depart for Senegal, where they will participate in the 2024 Olympic Qualifiers. The team has spent valuable time training and interacting with Zambian boxers during their camp in Zambia, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie. The Zambian fighters have cherished this opportunity to exchange experiences and training sessions with their Botswana counterparts, who will follow suit the next day in Senegal. Expressing their gratitude, the Botswana Boxing Federation has commended Zambia for its warm hospitality and the chance to engage in valuable preparations. Mr. Boitumelo Taolo, the team manager, has confirmed that the training camp has concluded, and the team is in high spirits as they embark on their journey to Dakar, Senegal. There, they will compete in the African Olympic qualifier event with hopes of securing a spot in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
