Zambia National Team captain Lubambo Musonda has made a significant move by joining Silkeborg IF in the Danish top-tier league. This move comes after completing a one-season loan deal from AC Horsens, a team he has been a part of for the last two seasons in the NordicBet League. His time with AC Horsens contributed to their promotion to the 3F Superliga, where Musonda showcased his skills as a wingback. Throughout the last season in the 3F Superliga, Musonda managed to score three goals and provide three assists from his position. His impressive performance caught the attention of Silkeborg IF, and they are excited about the potential he brings to their team. Jesper Stüker, the Sporting Director of Silkeborg IF, mentioned that Musonda's abilities align well with their style of play, and he is expected to contribute positively in both defensive and offensive roles. Lubambo Musonda's football journey has taken him to various places, including playing for Slask Wroclaw in Poland and Gandzasar Kapan in Armenia. His collective record boasts 23 goals and 26 assists in 115 games across his various stints. Prior to his move to Silkeborg, he also represented teams like Power Dynamos and National Assembly. The new chapter in Musonda's career is set to begin as he joins his new teammates for training.
