The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) organized an impactful workshop in Lusaka today, exclusively for Zambian athletes and Olympians. Led by Kady Kanouté Tounkara OLY, a distinguished member of the IOC Career+ Steering Committee and a leading educator from Africa, the workshop focused on the essential self-discovery module. Throughout the day, participants engaged in enlightening sessions that covered crucial aspects such as strengths and values, interests and skills, passion and impact, and purpose and planning. The workshop's interactive nature left the attendees with invaluable skills, ensuring they are well-equipped for their post-sports careers. NOCZ Treasurer, Victor Banda, extended his gratitude to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for making the workshop possible through the Athlete365 initiative. He emphasized that NOCZ remains committed to supporting athletes in planning for their lives beyond sports. "We encourage all athletes to make use of the valuable tools and platforms provided by the Athlete365 initiative," said Banda. With 38 participants representing various affiliate National Federations, the workshop achieved resounding success. Attendees left with a deeper understanding of themselves and clearer career goals, all thanks to the unwavering support of the IOC, Athlete365, and the commendable efforts of Kady Kanouté Tounkara OLY.
