The Charity Shield is taking place this weekend in Ndola, where the league champions, Power Dynamos, will face ABSA Cup champions, Forest Rangers, at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium. We hope that the Charity Shield will set the tone for an exciting season ahead, with some minor issues such as stadium safety and security expected to be less problematic this season. With CAF and FIFA prioritizing safety and security by establishing high standards, it is crucial for Zambia not to fall behind. Our league must meet the same high standards that are upheld on the continent and beyond.
