Zambia Super League outfit Prison Leopards have bid farewell to nine players as they prepare for the upcoming season. The club officially announced the departure of the nine players through their social media channels. Among the players leaving, goalkeeper Charles Kalumba stands out, having spent the previous two seasons with Red Arrows. He now embarks on a loan stint with Solwezi-based side Kansanshi Dynamos. Midfielder Francis Zulu has also found a new home at Power Dynamos, while Davison Sinyinza joins Konkola Blades on loan. Meanwhile, defender Shadrick Banda has secured a move to Nkana, and Isaac Ngoma's contract will not be renewed after its expiration. In a bid to revamp their squad, Prison Leopards have decided to part ways with Rodwell Yolamu Jr, Damiano Phiri, Harrison Shula, and Ephraim Tusanile, who will be moving on to other ventures. The club management expressed gratitude to all departing players for their valuable contributions, dedication, and discipline during their time with the team, wishing them success in their future endeavors. In a positive development, right back Zephaniah Phiri has signed a one-year loan extension, committing to remain with Prison Leopards until the culmination of the 2023/2024 season.
