BANDA IMPRESSES IN RIJEKA'S 1-0 WIN

Zambian midfielder Emmanuel Banda put in a strong performance for Rijeka in their 1-0 win over Dukagjini in the first leg of their Europa Conference League qualification match. Banda played for 74 minutes in the middle of the park, breaking down the opposition attack and earning himself a yellow card. He was replaced by Albanian international Lindon Selahi in the 74th minute. Rijeka's goal was scored by 21-year-old midfielder Niko Jankovic in the 29th minute. The second leg of the tie will be played at Stadion HNK Rijeka in Croatia on August 3rd. Rijeka will be looking to build on their 1-0 lead and progress to the next round of the competition.
