FC Muza of Zambia suffered a 2-1 defeat against DIABLES NOIRS of Congo Brazzaville in the CAF Confederation first-leg fixture played at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka on Sunday afternoon. Speaking to the media after the match, FC Muza head coach Mathews Ndhlovu said that his team will not allow themselves to lose twice to the same opponent. "We have learned something from today's defeat going into the return fixture," Ndhlovu said. "They can't beat us twice." Muza looked disorganised in midfield and defense, giving their opponents too much space to work with. This resulted in two goals and forced some important saves from FC Muza goalkeeper Monga Ndala. "The game was tough, a very tactical one. They made use of their chances more than us, despite us creating a lot of scoring opportunities. The return match will be an uphill battle," Ndhlovu added. Meanwhile, his counterpart Noel Tosi boasted that he had more information about FC Muza's style of play, having watched videos of their game against Equatorial Guinea side Cano Sport Academy in the first round of the competition. "We planned for this game after watching Muza play against the Cano Sport players twice, and it was easy to put the tactics together when you know your opponents," Tosi said. He added that he wasn't sure how much Muza knew about them. Going into the return fixture, Coach Mathews Ndhlovu said that his team will work on its weaknesses that were spotted in the 2-1 defeat, such as defense coordination, midfield, and sharpening the attack.
