According to various media reports, Daka has become frustrated with his lack of playing time under Enzo Maresca, particularly after his summer transfer from the club fell through when the Foxes demanded more than what his potential suitors were willing to pay. Daka is Zambia's highest goalscorer with six goals and has been a joy to watch at the international level. However, he has failed to break into Maresca's team, as the manager has consistently preferred Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho over him. Daka came on to replace Stephy Mavididi, who joined Leicester City from Montpellier in July. It will be interesting to see if the Zambian forward receives more playing time in the future.
