Nkwazi FC came from behind to beat Forest Rangers 2-1 away in Ndola in a Week 12 fixture of the MTN FAZ Super League on Saturday, moving level on points with table toppers Red Arrows. Nkwazi went down in the eighth minute when Libamba Moyela put Forest Rangers ahead. But the Zambia Police-sponsored outfit, under the leadership of Oswald Mutapa, managed to find their way back into the match in the 30th minute, with Peter Mwaangani scoring an equalizer. Nkwazi has a youthful side that is a joy to watch, with their players full of energy. They proved to be difficult to deal with for Forest Rangers, and the tie went into the break tied at 1-1. Nkwazi didn't take long to establish the lead in the second half after the restart, with a goal from Mathews Mashimikili in the 54th minute. This proved to be the all-important goal as Forest Rangers failed to find their way back into the match against a much more resilient and determined Nkwazi defense. The win takes Nkwazi to third on the table with 22 points, level on points with table toppers Red Arrows and second-placed ZESCO United. This was a very impressive performance from Nkwazi, who have now won back-to-back matches with a uniform scoreline. They have shown that they are a force to be reckoned with in the MTN FAZ Super League this season.
