Napsa Stars defender David Owino Odhiambo has set his sights on winning silverware with the Pensioners in the coming season. The Kenyan international, who joined Napsa Stars from Zesco United in 2021, helped the club win the Absa Cup in his first season. He is now targeting to win the league title with Napsa Stars. "Individually, I always target to do better than how I did last season," Odhiambo told Napsa Stars media. "At least I would like to win something this season. I think I only won the Absa Cup with the team. If I can also win the league, it would be even better." Odhiambo also revealed that Napsa Stars are aiming to improve their performance from last season. The team finished sixth in the league, but Odhiambo believes they have the potential to finish much higher this season. "We are aiming to do much better this season than we did last season," he said. "We want to qualify for Absa and try to win it." Napsa Stars will begin their league campaign against Zesco United on August 19th. Odhiambo is aware that Zesco United is a strong side, but he is confident that Napsa Stars can achieve a positive result. "Zesco is a very good team," he said. "It is going to be tough, but I am sure we are up to the challenge. We will give our best."
