The much-awaited MTN FA Super League fixture has been released today by the Football Association of Zambia. The 2023/24 football season will kick off on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Defending champions Power Dynamos will be away in Kabwe to take on Prison Leopards. Last season's surprise package FC Muza, who finished as runners-up in the league, will be at home in Mazabuka to host the bankers Zanaco under the leadership of new coach Mathews Ndlobvu. In Nchoma, Green Eagles will be at home hosting newcomers into the league Mutondo Stars. Nkana will be at home taking on Red Arrows, Napsa Stars will play the Ndola Giants Zesco United, while newcomers Trident Football Club will play host to Kansanshi Dynamos. Mufulira Wanderers will be at home against Green Buffaloes as they make their return to the league. A home start will be good for the newcomers. Forest Rangers will play Kabwe Warriors, with Nkwazi FC hosting new boys Konkola Blades as they make their return to the top flight. The opening week promises to be a week of exciting encounters.
