In the 2023 CAF Women's Champions COSAFA Qualifiers, the match between Green Buffaloes and Double Action Ladies ended in a draw with a score of 1-1. Xiomara Mapepa scored for Green Buffaloes in the 50th minute, while Lesego Radiakanyo scored an early goal for Double Action Ladies in the 1st minute. The match remained evenly contested throughout the 90 minutes, resulting in a level score at the end. Moving to the MTN Super League on August 30th, there were two more matches with an identical scoreline of 1-1. Zanaco faced off against Muza, and both teams managed to find the back of the net once. Chawananga Kaonga and Andrew Phiri were the goal scorers for their respective teams. In another match, Power Dynamos clashed with Prison Leopards, but neither team could break the deadlock. The match ended in a goalless draw, with both sides unable to capitalize on their chances. Overall, it was a day of competitive football with close matches and shared points among the teams.
