Zambian midfielder Clatous Chota Chama provided an assist in Simba's 3-0 win over Coastal Union in a rescheduled Week Three fixture in the Tanzanian Premier League on Thursday. Chama played the full 90 minutes and assisted one of the goals, all of which were scored by 22-year-old Congolese striker Jean Othos Baleke. The win means Simba keeps up the pace with Azam FC and Young Africans, both of whom have also won their opening three games of the season. Simba is currently third in the standings, tied on points with Azam FC and Young Africans, but behind on goal difference. Chama has now made four goal contributions this season in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing two assists. Simba's next game will be against Power Dynamos in the CAF Champions League return leg set for October 1 in Tanzania, with the scores tied at 2-2 from the first leg in Ndola. This is a good start to the season for Chama, and he will be hoping to continue his good form. He is a key player for Simba, and his contributions will be vital if they are to challenge for the league title and make a deep run in the CAF Champions League.
