Coach Avram Grant has unveiled a 25-player roster for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Group E against Congo Brazzaville and Niger. The squad predominantly consists of players who contributed to Zambia's qualification for the 2023 Ivory Coast Africa Cup of Nations. Notably, Grant will be missing Frankie Musonda and Kelvin Kapumbu due to injuries, while Tandi Mwape remains without a club since his contract with TP Mazembe ended. The squad, which is a blend of local and foreign-based players, will assemble in Ndola on November 13 during the FIFA window. Zambia is set to face Congo Brazzaville at Levy Mwanwasa Stadium on November 17, followed by a match against Niger in Marrakech four days later. The goalkeepers that have been called up are Lawrence Mulenga, Francis Mwansa, and Charles Kalumb. In defense, Grant has entrusted Benedict Chepeshi, Killian Kanguluma, Stoppilla Sunzu, Dominic Chanda, Luka Banda, Roderick Kabwe, and Zephaniah Phiri. Midfielders include Benson Sakala, Andrew Mupande, Golden Mafwenta, Kings Kangwa, Emanuel Banda, Rally Bwalya, Clatous Chama, Lubambo Musonda, Edward Chilufya, and Kelvin Kampamba. For strikers, he has called up Lameck Banda, Brian Mwila, Fashion Sakala, Evans Kangwa, and Patson Daka.
