Chipolopolo coach Avram Grant, who recently joined the team's backroom staff, is optimistic about the Copper Queens' readiness for the upcoming World Cup. Having observed one game and a training session, Grant was impressed with the positive attitude, quality, and spirit displayed by the team. "I saw a lot of positives even though I just watched one game and one training," Grant said. "I need to watch training tomorrow and a game on Saturday, but from what I saw, good quality and spirit were evident. They made a lot of efforts in the match against Switzerland, though it was a friendly, but the team is ready." The Copper Queens find themselves in Group C, alongside Spain, Japan, and Costa Rica, making it a tough challenge. Nevertheless, Grant remains confident that Zambia has the potential to make an impact. "Toughest Group, Spain is a fantastic team, Japan and Costa Rica are also good teams," Grant said. "But in football, you never know what can happen with the spirit and quality of players. Zambia has that, and I believe they can win the games."
