Green Buffaloes Women's Football Club can confirm the departure of head coach Charles Haalubono, who has joined Yanga Princesses in Tanzania in the same capacity as the head coach of the team. Coach Haalubono joined the Army-sponsored side in 2007 and has enjoyed immense success at the club, winning the league title 12 times, including three consecutive wins. He later won the 2022 Hollywood COSAFA Women's Champion League after beating Mamelodi Sundowns on penalties. Buffaloes have been a dominant force under the tutelage of coach Charles Haalubono. He has signed a one-year contract with the Tanzania team. We wish him all the best as he leads Yanga Princesses. Where does this leave the team? Could this be the end of a winning era considering their coach has left? And who will the replacement be?
