Green Buffaloes women's football team is on course for the semi-finals after securing two wins against Lesotho and Ntopwa. The Nyata ladies, who are in Group A, have played two games against Lesotho and Ntopwa, and have already accumulated 4 points. This puts them in a safe position for the semi-finals. The Nyanta ladies, who are the defending champions, are scheduled to play against Lesotho in their next game. After the completion of two matches, the group standings remain the same as they were before the start of the tournament. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with only one team ultimately making it to the continental finals in November.
