Trident Queens Football Club has just signed four new members to the team ahead of the 2022/2023 Women's Super League, which will commence in a few weeks. The exact dates are yet to be updated when the League begins. One of the signings is 20-year-old holding midfielder Monica Chisanga, who previously played for Mufulira Wanderers Women FC and now has a two-year contract. Commonly known as "Ba Manchester" by her peers, she earned this nickname due to her strong performance last season. Chisanga also served as the captain of the Mufulira Wanderers Women's Club. Trident Queens FC has also announced the signing of another exciting player, 19-year-old midfielder Nandipha 'Buffalo' Mkombe, who is currently on a seasonal loan contract with National Assembly Women FC. In addition, the team has secured the services of 20-year-old central defender Precious Nalunda from ZESCO Ndola Girls FC. Nalunda has signed a two-year contract with the club. Fondly referred to as "Metal" by her former teammates, she is known for being a combative defender and will bring valuable Super League football experience to the team. Lastly, Trident Queens FC has made the interesting signing of 22-year-old right-back Chabwe Ngosa, who played for Nkwazi Queens FC last season. Ngosa has also signed a two-year contract and will contribute to the team's preparation for the upcoming season.
