The Zambia U-20 Women's national team will depart for Kinshasa tomorrow for their return fixture against Congo DR in the 2024 Colombia World Cup qualifiers, set for Saturday, following a 2-2 draw on Saturday at Nkoloma stadium in Lusaka. The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has confirmed that the team remains in camp in Lusaka and continues training ahead of a must-win encounter for the Copper Queens Princesses to progress to the next round of the qualifiers. Zambia, who surrendered the lead twice in a 2-2 draw on Saturday, will now face a tough uphill battle away from home in a match in which they will need to win or record a high-scoring draw to advance to the next round of the qualification stages. Head coach Charles Haalubono will need to work on his side's final third, having failed to utilize most of the chances they created in the first fixture, as well as their shoddy defense, which also needs fixing when dealing with set pieces. However, the team still stands a better chance of progressing to the next stage. FAZ said that Haalubono may also make changes to the squad that played in the first leg if he sees the need to do so before the team leaves for Congo DR.
