Lusaka Provincial Division One side, Kafue Celtic Football Club, experienced a disappointing defeat in their friendly match against FC Locomotive Tbilisi in Tbilisi, Georgia. Despite holding a commanding 2-nil lead in the first half, they relinquished their advantage and succumbed to a 4-2 loss. The opening goal came early in the 5th minute courtesy of their talented Under-20 striker, Emmanuel Mwanza. Darton Bwalya doubled their lead from a penalty kick in the 38th minute. However, their strong start was not enough to secure victory. This defeat followed Kafue Celtic's previous friendly match, where they suffered a 2-1 loss against Torpedo Kutaisi on Monday. Undeterred by the setbacks, Kafue Celtic looks ahead to their next friendly match against Saburtalo. The Zambian club is currently in Georgia as part of their memorandum with FC Locomotive Tbilisi, aiming to engage in three friendly matches during their stay.
